We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Wet Utilities Design team, supporting infrastructure projects in Denmark. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of international experience in water, wastewater, stormwater and drainage design across highways, railways, airports, buildings, and urban settlements. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and familiarity with Danish systems and standards.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout water, wastewater, and drainage design projects, from feasibility to detailed design stages.
Supervise Graduate/Junior Engineers and ensure compliance with client requirements through thorough reviews.
Apply advanced knowledge of GIS, Bentley Openroads (Drainage & Utility), MicroStation for 2D/3D utility design, terrain modeling, and clash detection, supporting multidisciplinary collaboration in Danish infrastructure projects.
Utilize DanDasGraf, Denmark's national drainage system management software, for standardized data recording, hydraulic analysis, and integration with terrain and inspection data.
Coordinate workflows involving importing DanDasGraf data into MicroStation for layout and simulation, performing hydraulic validation using regulatory rainfall datasets, and exporting enriched models for contractor deliverables.
Provide input to CAD Designers/Drafters and engage in design tasks using MicroStation Connect and Civil3D.
Prepare longitudinal profiles and cross sections for sewer and stormwater networks, ensuring compliance with Danish standards.
Resolve technical issues during project design and execution.
Support the professional growth of junior modeling staff.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to develop optimal design solutions.
Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure design integrity.
Maintain a professional reputation and stay updated on industry innovations.
Key Skills or Software Proficiency
0-5 years of experience working with GIS, Bentley Openroads (Drainage & Utility), Microstation, ProjectWise, 2D/3D modelling of terrain and utility networks using Bentley tools
0-5 years of experience in designing sewer and drainage systems
Experience with DanDasGraf including its application in drainage design, asset documentation, and integration with national registers like LER.
Experience in collecting underground cables and pipelines information from LER that are owned by various companies and organization

Educated as an engineer and specialized in wet utility systems and infrastructure engineering.
Open-minded and flexible.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a MS/ M.Tech degree in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.
Either a Chartered Engineer or actively pursuing Chartership.
Independently carry out designs of collection, conveyance, and disposal of pressure networks.
Demonstrated experience using Bentley MicroStation and DanDasGraf in combination for sewer and stormwater network design, including 2D/3D modeling, hydraulic calculations, and data exchange workflows.
Experience and knowledge of preparing and developing hydraulic models for pressure network, design reports and conversant with design software like Mike Urban, Mike Plus, Bentley WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, Hammer software.
Hands-on experience of using latest software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, Dynamo, Python, Open Roads, Open Utilities, GIS is desirable.
Familiar with load demand calculations for large private developments and/or large government projects. Conversant with Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Irrigation and Firefighting Authority regulations of Nordics region.
Extensive experience in creating utility cross sections as per requirements of local authorities, 3D modelling of existing and new utilities, pipeline alignment design, clash check, development of plan and profile drawing and quality estimation.
Working knowledge of planning, designing and construction of Wet Utilities systems, including Water and Wastewater treatment, pumping systems, intake structures, etc.
Strong technical background and practical knowledge in updating water, wastewater, and storm drainage network 3D models through existing asset data and using surveyed information.
Significant proficiency in using ArcGIS software.
Experience in resource management/line management, project management of utilities design projects, and scoping work will be considered advantageous.
Familiarity with international codes, standards, and practices relevant to the water industry in Sweden/Nordics.
Display strong self-motivation, assertiveness, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Possess excellent communication and writing skills.
Exhibit proficiency in report writing, well-developed interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Adaptable to taking on new or challenging tasks as required by the business.
