Support the Lifetime Warranty Project Manager to drive Warranty Cost and Unexpended Warranty spend Reduction for IMG. Analyze data to identify opportunities to explore CPU and Unexpended Warranty reduction, Work with PD and FCSD to drive project implementation. Equal or exceed key Warranty KPIs
Responsibilities:
Scope, define and drive the program of projects and processes for function and carline to deliver in line with business plan objectives supporting the Lifetime Warranty PM * Analyse Warranty data to identify warranty reduction opportunities supporting problem definition and spend reduction actions

  • Deep Dive Warranty claim data to identify warranty trends and warranty reduction opportunities
  • Identify current part sourcing and pricing in conjunction with the Warranty sourcing, pricing, Kitting, TCA (Variations in Labour and Material Cost), OTA and other groups based in India (e.g. Problem Definition)
  • Complete and present business case to determine impact of warranty reduction if action implemented
  • Monitor and validate post warranty reduction implementation for expected reductions
  • Participate in the Warranty Reduction Meetings and present data collected
  • Maintain warranty spend process tools and reporting supporting the Lifetime Warranty Project Manager
  • Add/Modify Warranty Part Groups within Quality-AI
  • Raise and Update JIRA Tickets for Quality Improvements and service actions
  • Complete special Assignments and Projects as required
  • Time Flexibility - Overlap with AUS/THL/ZAF/Global
Qualifications: Education Qualification Tertiary qualification required (Engineering preferred), 8D
No. of Years of Experience
Prior experience in diagnostics of Electrical/modules in T6 platform is required.
Min 5 years' experience leading teams in a technical environment required
Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills)
Automotive experience preferred
Preferred previous experiences
Manufacturing, Quality, Material Handling experience in a high-quality manufacturing-design environment
Functional Skills
Strong Technical, Analytical and Project Management skills required
An ability to manage and deliver specific projects independently
Behavioural Skills
Leadership, Results-driven attitude, Effective communication skills (incl English) both verbal and written. Ability to influence and build relationships.

Quality-AI / GSAR / OWS-SERVIS2 / Microcat / Panda / PTS
