esign responsibilities include, but not limited to, alignment design, regression analysis, template creation and corridor modelling of railway corridor, service roads, fencing and technical areas, quantity estimation, 3D model extraction, cross section drawings, plan drawings, plan & profile drawings, design reports. o identify related business opportunities, initiate discussion and to convert such opportunities to success stories. R
ole requires the designer to ensure quality and timely delivery to the client. P
roject management (basics such as documentation, and submission tracking expected) from start to delivery of project to client. L
eading a design team, if necessary, in a project. R
eporting project status to higher management at definite time intervals. K
ey Competencies / Skills:
M

andatory
A

t least 4 years' experience of working with Rail Alignment & Track Design for LRT, Metro, Monorail, High Speed and/or Freight railways and other Guided Transport Systems. E
xcellent command of written and verbal English. V
ery good working knowledge of Bentley products such as Microstation/ Open Rail Designer (from alignment design through to preparation of drawings), Projectwise, Open Roads Designer etc. P
roblem solving skills and originality in approach to solving a problem. C
omputer literacy including a command over MS office tools. D

esired
S

wedish project experience and knowledge of Swedish design standards is advantageous. Training and guidance will be provided where necessary. E
xperience to work in/with other cultures. E
xperience in projects from feasibility to detailed design to implementation and client handover. H
igh degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others. P
referable to have a good working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. A
bility to work truthfully and honestly, even under minimum supervision. F
