Duties & Responsibilities: Complete front-end, preliminary and detailed design of infrastructure engineering packages. Produce engineering documents such as, design reports, cost estimates and construction specifications, Data sheets, Bid documents, Bid evaluations, engineering directives, and other data, according to client specifications. Design drainage and utilities for infrastructure projects in the mining processing and municipal industries. Lead project civil engineering team and ensure that project design solutions are delivered in accordance with the relevant codes and regulations and to the highest industry standards on schedule and within budget. Establish and monitor cost and schedule for project deliverables. Interface with project teams to develop and implement multi-disciplinary project strategies. Perform quality check for all design work to ensure to meet SNC QA/QC requirements. Data management and record keeping. Writing report, technical memo. Conducting field investigations. Skills and Knowledge Required: Thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to maintain confidential information critical. Working knowledge of Micro-Station, Civil 3D, AutoCAD. Education and Experience: BS/BE or MS/ME in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum of 10 years of Civil Engineering experience. Extensive knowledge/experience in designs for earthworks, drainage systems, site underground services. Water shed management, Haul Road designs and Pumps Systems knowledge and experience preferred.
