Danfoss Refrigeration and Air conditioning Controls is having R&D & Engineering operations in India. The Global RAC Lab has an opening for \'Engineer\' in White Collar role based out of Chennai, India. Danfoss Factories for Refrigeration and Air conditioning Controls are responsible for development, manufacturing and marketing of valves & controls for industrial and Commercial cooling purposes. This position should be able partner with R&D teams in their projects and to drive lab activities like Product testing & validation , Calibration, Verification & validation, and General maintenance follow etc., Job Responsibilities Align with R&D team to understand their test requirement and provide them test-related support. Partnering with NPD R&D & Engineering team to support their project. To use effective project planning tools to help R&D projects. Support & Performs basic tasks related to Product testing lab. Team up with the simulation team and run projects in lab to support R&D. Operate electromechanical and High-Pressure line-powered equipment. Need to have mid-level knowledge in refrigerant & chemical handling. Project related product testing comprising automated setup, data acquisition, data evaluation, and reporting. To give recommendation and suggestions to R&D team from product performance front. Monitor daily, monthly maintenance for Lab equipment\'s perform minor equipment repairs with help of technical experts. Ability to understand electrical , electronic circuit & drawings. Should have experiences in calibration, MSA, GRR & Verification validation process. Need to visit & interact with external vendors & suppliers to prepare fixtures , jigs & fitments to support test activity\'s. Able to work independently on projects and work assignments. Ability to work under different shifts if requires to support critical tasks. Should involve in inventory counts of spares & available consumables. Supports continuous laboratory improvement projects within the fields of testing methods, procedures, facilities, etc. Maintains logs, performs rounds, and completes maintenance work orders, tests and inspections. Align with the purchasing team to raise purchase requests. To forecast consumables in the lab and to be prepared to support R&D. Background & Skills Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Minimum of 46 years\' experience in Testing / Engineering/ R&D department from reputed industries / MNCs with a multiproduct range Expertise in handling Technical documentation / Calibration/ Hardware Testing / Equipment maintenance / IOT projects.
