ENGINEER - TECHNICAL PUBLICATION

Job Title: Engineer - Technical Publication



:

As an Engineer specializing in Technical Publication, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining technical documentation for products and services. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering teams, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. You will also be tasked with designing user manuals, installation guides, product specifications, and other supporting documents aimed at enhancing user experience and understanding of the products.



Key Responsibilities:

Create and edit technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, and training materials. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to obtain product information and technical details. Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and adheres to company standards and industry regulations. Review and revise existing documentation to maintain accuracy and relevance. Implement feedback from users and stakeholders to improve documentation quality. Utilize various tools and software for documentation and design purposes. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.



Skills and Tools Required:

Proficiency in technical writing and editing, with an ability to convey complex information clearly. Strong understanding of software and hardware products, with a technical background in engineering or related fields. Experience with documentation tools such as Adobe InDesign and Oxygen XML. Familiarity with graphic design software, like Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, Creo, and Creo View for creating visuals and diagrams. Knowledge of XML, HTML, and other markup languages for web-based documentation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage documentation projects efficiently. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
