Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location:

MIDC Talegaon, Pune

Company:

Experience:

4-5 Years

Qualification:

Graduate Engineer (Plastics / Polymer / Mechanical) or PGD in Plastics

Job Purpose:

To ensure product and process quality in the manufacturing of

plastic caps and closures

by implementing effective

quality systems, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives

in alignment with global standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct

in-process and final product inspection

for plastic components, caps, and closures as per defined standards. Perform and document

quality testing

such as

dimensional checks, torque, pull, drop, leakage, sealing integrity

, and other functional tests. Monitor

process parameters

and ensure adherence to quality norms during production. Handle

non-conformance, root cause analysis (RCA)

, and implement

corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)

. Manage

incoming material inspection

and coordinate with suppliers for quality improvements. Support

PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plan

documentation and implementation. Maintain and calibrate all

measuring and testing instruments

used in QA labs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Tool Room, Maintenance) to resolve quality issues. Prepare and maintain

quality reports, test certificates, and documentation

for audits and customer communication. Support

ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 22000 (if applicable)

system audits and compliance. Drive

continuous improvement

in product quality and process consistency using quality tools such as

5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto Analysis

.

Desired Candidate Profile:

4-5 years

of experience in

Quality Assurance of Plastic Products / Caps & Closures

manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience in

QA lab testing, inspection, and documentation

. Sound understanding of

injection moulding / compression moulding

processes for plastic components. Knowledge of

statistical quality control (SQC)

and

problem-solving tools

. Familiar with

international quality standards and audit practices

. Good communication and analytical skills. Proficiency in

MS Office and SAP systems

will be an added advantage.

Quality Manager / Head - Quality Assurance

Compensation:

Commensurate with qualification and experience, aligned with MNC standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
