The candidate will be responsible for plan, schedule, monitor and control all production activities to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization, minimizing downtime and aligning with customer delivery requirements.

Required Experience:

6 to 8 years' experience

in

PPC

in an

infra manufacturing (fabrication) setup

(e.g., steel structures, precast, cement, heavy machinery or related).

Salary Budget:

35 k to 45 k/pm (Negotiable),

Roles & Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling:

Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts, orders, and inventory levels.

Coordinate with Sales, Design, Procurement, and Production teams to finalize the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

Translate customer orders and project schedules into actionable production plans.

Material Planning:

Liaise with Procurement and Inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials, consumables, and tools as per the production schedule.

Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.

Capacity Planning:

Assess machine and manpower availability; identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.

Optimize resource allocation (machines, labor, tools) for maximum productivity.

Shop Floor Coordination & Monitoring:

Monitor actual production against plan and take corrective measures to bridge any variances.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols on the shop floor.

MIS & Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of production metrics - output, downtime, scrap, efficiency, etc.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.

Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-functional Coordination:

Work closely with QA/QC, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Project Execution teams.

Ensure timely dispatch and project alignment.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of PPC in an infra/manufacturing setup

Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other planning tools

Analytical and problem-solving ability

Leadership and team management skills

Strong communication and coordination abilities
