Roles and Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Designation Sr. Engineer - Embedded Software Department FA Sub Department R&D (INDC) Educational Qualification B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MSc/ in Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Instrumentation. Post Graduate Diploma in Embedded System Design will be preferred Experience 4-6 years of experience in Embedded Software Development. Minimum 2 year of experience of Embedded software component design. A. Job Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible to build high-quality, performance oriented and innovative product embedded software. The candidate will actively participate in product software design. Design and development throughout the product's Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Source code review of product's embedded software compliance with technical design, open source software policy and coding standards. B. Skills and Capabilities required: Working experience in the design and development of the Variable Frequency Drives product is preferable. Expert in C programming (good to have C++ know-how). Good understanding of RTOS concepts and programming experience on device drivers, middleware and application layers. Good at source code reverse engineering. Good debugging techniques. Familiar with source code control systems (SVN). Basic knowledge of the control engineering. Understanding customer needs for VFD/Inverter based applications like Elevators, Crane & Hoist application, Material handling system, Solar inverter, Pump & Fan applications. Self-starter, ability to work independently with little direction and a consummate team player. Exposure to VFD products from ABB, Danfoss, Fuji, Siemens is added advantage.
