About the Role:
The Senior Engineer, Software plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-scale data solutions that power T-Mobiles Human Resources analytics and AI-driven initiatives. This position focuses on developing robust, scalable data pipelines, architecting large data warehouses, and enabling advanced reporting and AI/ML capabilities. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in data engineering with strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate across business and technology teams.

What Youll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for enterprise-scale data platforms, Architect and implement data models for large data warehouses, build and optimize ETL workflows and SQL-based transformations for high-volume data processing.
• Contribute to design, build, and execution of innovations that improve systems, processes, or services using new frameworks and industry best practices including CI/CD pipelines, data observability and AI/ML pipelines, and integrate streaming platforms like Kafka and distributed processing frameworks like Spark.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions and mentor others through knowledge sharing and training sessions.
• Support technology strategy by evaluating and applying current technologies that align with business goals that align to data engineering, AI/ML, and cloud platforms.
• Create clear documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements to support knowledge sharing including clear technical artifacts related to data architecture, pipelines, and operational processes. E.g. source to target mapping documents.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Must Have Skills:

• Data Modelling
• Data Architecture
• ETL/ELT Pipeline (preferred Snowflake otherwise Teradata/ Oracle/SQL Server)
• Python
• Azure Services (Data Bricks Medallion Architecture)
