Job Profile Summary:
The role of the Production Supervisor is to guarantee manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Entry-level requirements:
Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
4 to 6 years of manufacturing experience, preferably from escalator industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to multitask.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Performance Measures:
Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
Advanced skills in MS Office
Organizational and leadership abilities
Communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Problem-solving skills
Professional requirements:
Excellent knowledge in operation, production (lean manufacturing and 5 S principles), quality (Six sigma), logistics and supply chain management
Project and change management skills
Good knowledge of automation systems Labor law and industrial relations knowledge is an added advantage
Behavioral competence:
Execution, winning through people, Decision making, Collaboration, Stress tolerance, Quality focus, Analysis and problem solving, Environmental awareness
What will you be doing
?
Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
Oversee and coach employees
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
Check production output according to specifications
Submit reports on performance and progress
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
Train new, existing employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards Develop people and keep them in high spirits
