Engineer - Quality Assurance

Education : BE Mechanical /DME

Working Experience minimum 5 to 6 years in Quality Assurance in Automotive

company, MNC ,Heavy Duty Press shop having Press from 400Ton to 1200 ton

capacity with Quality Management System IATF 16949, OSHAS

1.Shift wise Quality Inspection for RM, Incoming , Process & Final Inspection

2.Knowledge of Quality Management System IATF 16949 activities such as PPAP,

PFMEA, APQP, Mistake Proofing etc

3.Rejection Analysis and Corrective action Plan& Implementation of CAPA

4. Reduction In-process Inspection & Customer PPM

5. Reduction in Warranty Cost, Cost of Poor Quality and in-house scrap and waste

6 Implement Poka-Yoke - Mistake Proofing

7. Work to prevent non-conformances, customer complaints, concession and rework

alongside Manufacturing/ Engineering and Operations to develop corrective and

preventative actions within required time-frame

8 Experience to Face External audit from Quality Management System IATF

TS16949, EMS and OSHAS ensuring companywide compliance

9. Report on Quality activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team,

and in Dana SAP portal ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key

Performance Indicators
