Job summary

Seeking a Civil Engineer with less than 3 to 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while adhering to all quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed

quantity take-off

and prepare

BOQs/ cost estimates

from drawings and project documents. Prepare and review

contracts

subcontractor agreements

, and variations/claims. Monitor and control

project budgets

, material usage, and expenditures. Conduct

site measurements

and validate contractor invoices for work progress. Prepare

monthly payment applications

, certification reports, and cost tracking statements. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure cost efficiency. Update

project cost forecasts

, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions. Assist in

tendering

, pricing, and procurement plans. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company standards and client requirements. Support

value engineering

initiatives to reduce cost without compromising quality. Ensure compliance with

local laws, codes, and safety regulations

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

construction materials, methods, and civil works standards

Excellent in

AutoCAD

,

MS Excel

,

MS Project/Primavera P6

, and

Quantity Surveying software

(e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, Candy) Good analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting capabilities Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Key Requirements

Experience

: Less than 1 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering within the real estate or construction sector.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in residential and industrial construction projects Strong understanding of structural design and analysis
