The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all engineering and construction activities comply with quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves monitoring and auditing internal processes, preparing inspection reports, liaising with third-party inspectors, and ensuring that quality control procedures are implemented across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
Review specifications, drawings, and test plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Perform inspection and testing activities to ensure material and workmanship conform to standards.
Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformities.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
Liaise with third-party inspectors and clients regarding quality matters.
Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits as required.
Maintain calibration records of inspection tools and equipment.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
Provide training and awareness to site staff regarding quality procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
QA/QC certification (e.g., CSWIP, NDT Level II/III, ASNT, ISO Lead Auditor) is an advantage.
3-7 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, preferably in [construction/oil & gas/infrastructure/etc.].
