Engineering
Manufacturing Design & EAMEngineering function, having expertise in technical documentation, process and layout design, Tooling design, PDM testing automation and NDT supports Vestas global strategies through process optimization, production support, test validation, cost control and E2E project management. We enact creative solutions and develop continuous improvement culture to make Vestas vision come true.
This role is part of Manufacturing design and EAM team, where process design creation/ revision through storyboards, process work instruction and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) concepts are being worked out.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Engineering Change Management (ECM)Production Work Instruction (PWI), Production drawings and BOM routingStoryboards/ technical specification/ lifting instructionsNew Product/Production line introduction (NPI & TT)Revise PWIs based on engineering change ordersTranslate PWIs to local language working with externals & maintain track of Spanish/ Russian/ Portuguese version of PWIsCreate new PWIs working along with NPI teams and ensure to maintain closed loop based on other production documentation like PFMEA, Control plan, inspection plan, etcDefining assembly sequences (Storyboards) from Manufacturing conceptRead & Interpret engineering drawing & other production documentationReport to global PE function on weekly status of task completionEfficiently coordinate stakeholders on projects and their deliverablesQualificationsDegree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant work experienceCompetenciesExperience in PLM concept & system. Preferably WindchillExposure in working with 3D modelling software like CREO/ SolidworksDesign for ManufacturingMPM link, NPI/ NPD of WTG assembly/ Heavy equipment manufacturingProject handling/ management exposureProficient in MS Office 365 applications for reporting day to day progressHaving exposure in the field of either Wind turbine part manufacturing (Blade/ Nacelles/ Towers/ Controls) OR any assembly line exposure is an added advantageWhat We Offer
