Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech - Mechanical
Experience: 4 to 6 Yrs.
Location: Halol
Salary: 6.00 to 8.00 Lacks P/A

Initiate improvements in - Production process, Material handling and storage system, Optimise floor layout Design and fabricate/manufacture- Storage racks, racking system, Fixtures for error-proof production, Tooling and Jigs to standardize production Problem solving and attending machine break-downs Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with drawings/blueprints and design models.
Additional responsibilities:

Programme VMC Use computer software to model cutting paths Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining desired quality Perform quality control tests and maintain records to ensure product meets design specifications Select and program, suitable tools and fixtures to machine specified material and parts, program machines accordingly Basic knowledge of Metals, load correct raw materials onto the VMC. Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications. Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process Clean and maintain machine. Train new staff on machine operations.
Required Skill:

Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprint or models. Extensive experience with computer modelling software. Strong attention to details and specifications. Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline. Ability to stand at the workstation for long and extended periods. Ability to work after-hours when required. Should be flexible to work on other production machines and work stations as and when required Previous work experience as a VMC/CNC programmer/operator would be an added advantage
