Job Overview

We are looking for an

Engineer - CAM & Technical Support

with strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and customer handling. The role involves RFQ management, order processing, coordination with SCM/NPD teams, customer support, and ensuring timely delivery and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Review RFQ packages, validate drawings/process, and arrange clarifications with customers. Prepare and review quotations with the sales team to secure orders. Follow up with customers for purchase orders and schedules. Release sales orders in SAP and coordinate with SCM/NPD teams for delivery timelines. Support during customer audits, inspections, and queries. Prepare reports, sales trackers, and maintain documentation in SAP. Track RM pricing and provide roll-up for projects. Ensure payments are received on time and avoid overdue receivables. Contribute to achieving sales targets set by management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Related). 2-5 years' experience in sheet metal fabrication / technical sales support. Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office tools.

Proficiency in SAP for order processing and reporting.

Good communication, time management, and audit knowledge (customer, supplier, internal). Languages: English, Kannada.
