As a member of Molex Product Stewardship team, your primary responsibility will be to support Molex plants worldwide managing various projects, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date regulatory documentation, such as FMD and Molex Declaration of Non-use along with compliance to other relevant regulations.


Your proactive efforts in managing technical documentation activities will be essential to ensure the successful and timely completion of deliverables. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of strategies for continuous improvement, providing exceptional support and driving high customer satisfaction for assigned projects.

What you will do

Work with Molex suppliers to obtain necessary compliance declarations (FMD) to support customer requests and compliance goals for each plant. Leverage all available communication and escalation channels to ensure successful data collection from most suppliers. Proactively schedule meetings with suppliers to clarify our FMD/ regulatory expectation, understand roadblocks and train the suppliers on our requirements, wherever necessary. For simple components, use your knowledge of materials used to guide local manufacturers to submit FMD/ regulatory declarations. Validate received supplier declarations as per the Molex acceptable criteria to approve or reject the declarations. Import/ upload regulatory declarations in our Document Management System and complete related checks in SAP EHSM. Ensure timely completion of data collection objectives for each plant as per the schedule. Drive process enhancements to achieve high levels of supplier data collection. Plan, prioritize, and problem-solve to achieve established project objectives. Stay UpToDate on evolving regulatory requirements and future trends concerning Product Stewardship.

Who are you (Basic qualifications)

1 to 3 years work experience in Product Compliance/Stewardship functions. Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical/ Environmental/ Biomedical Electronics). Good knowledge of various Full Material Declaration (FMD) database/ tools such as IMDS, IPC 1752 Class D etc.

What will put you ahead

Previous experience with collecting and validating Full Material Declarations to support quick validation and import of supplier FMD submissions. Results-driven mindset leveraging all available communication and escalation channels to ensure successful data collection from the majority of suppliers. Knowledge on IMDS recommendations is a plus. Driving process enhancements to achieve high levels of supplier data collection. Good and effective technical communication skills. Previous work experience with SAP EHSM. Proficiency in MS office tools such as Word, Excel, VBA-Macro development, Co-pilot, Power automate, etc.
