The incumbent will lead research and development of advanced power electronics solutions for next-generation Data centers. This role supports execution of technology roadmaps, develops prototypes, and drives innovation in power conversion and distribution systems. Design & Development: Create high-efficiency AC/DC and DC/DC conversion systems, HVDC distribution architectures, and redundant power solutions for data centers. Innovation: Research emerging power electronics technologies, integrate solutions into digital twin environments, and support roadmap development. Compliance & Execution: Deliver projects aligned with IEC, UL, IEEE standards; ensure reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency. The individual will be responsible for developing high power density product designs involving electrical / power electronics / hardware design and interface designs from End-to-end. Optimize design for energy efficiency and various performance strategies using physical modeling or simulation tools, and providing technical expertise and guidance to team members and mentoring new engineers. Champions innovative solutions for High power LV inverter/DC-DC Converter topologies, Switching methods and control, HV/LV gate driver, isolated and isolated design and HV/LV protection; Filters and magnetics design and solid-state device selection. Leads project level deliverables in High-Speed Communication Circuits, and Digital and Analog Controls, I/O Interface Circuits and Control Hardware. Develop products to comply performance, functional safety, reliability and cost requirements. Writes and maintains product specifications and functional specifications of design solutions for product to meet performance, functional safety and reliability. Develop engineering tools and continuously improves operational efficiency. Evaluates alternative design solutions to meet product development requirements factoring in performance, cost and schedule. Interface with products teams in EIIC and global locations; act as the liaison for program associated with associated simulation technologies. A successful candidate will need knowledge and have prior experience of commercial vehicle product development process at system and subsystem levels. B-Tech/BE / ME/Mtech/ PhD 3-6 years Bachelors / Master's/ Doctoral degree in Electrical, Electronics with industry experience of 3-6 years and proven track record in engineering research / analysis / product design in HV/LV DC-AC inverter, DC-DC Converter Power electronics. Required Experience in new product development projects and in the field of power electronics. Experience in hardware system design including end to end product development involving analog & digital circuit design with 16/32 /64 bit microcontroller based designs, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing, launch support. Exposure / Hands on experience on Digital Communication protocols like CAN, LIN, RS232, SPI, I2C etc. Experience in following tools - MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice/ LT Spice/ Simetrix, PSIM/SABER Experience in pulsed power, capacitor chargers, electromagnetics, microelectronics, and thermal design. Experience in Analyzing and simulating power electronics systems including, analog, logical, and digital electronics. Leverages use of Hardware in the Loop simulation systems.. Experience in Validation, Verification and Certification of Auto / Electrical domain Understanding of DFSS tools like FMEA, FMECA, Monte Carlo Analysis etc Excellent mastery of FMEA method for the design of new products Knowledge of quality standards and certifications (IATF 16949, ISO9001, ISO14001) Should have proficiency in advanced problem-solving techniques. Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic design especially in HV power electronics Drive for Results, Communication skills, Analysis-First Mindset, Passionate Build strong customer relationships and manage customer communication effectively by providing customer centric solutions. Provide visible technical leadership to guide, coach and develop high performing project team/members.
