Job Description
Key Competencies Thoroughly conversant with analysis and design of industrial structures covering steel as well as RCC structures related to industries like hydrocarbon, refineries, petrochemicals & fertilizers etc. Conversant with Indian as well as international design codes and standards viz. IS, BS/EUROCODE, ASCE and ACI. Must have experience & proficiency in structural design software e.g. STAAD-Pro, MAT3D and RCDC and working knowledge of 3D model review software etc. Should have hands on experience in preparation of design calculations, checking of general arrangement & fabrication drawings for steel & RCC Key Responsibilities Coordinates with other departments and resolves engineering issues. Executes the engineering and design works within budget and schedule. Provides engineering inputs during all design phases. Actively communicates with other departments to optimize areas of interface during design development, review and check processes. Participates in Technical and progress reviews of projects. Familiar with organization procedures and international standards and codes. Performs departmental check of documents. Ensures that the required integrity and quality of work is maintained. Familiar with quality/HSE management system and procedures. Assists Lead/Area engineer for timely corrective action for identified non-conformities.
