Job Description

Responsibilities: -

Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on demand forecasts, confirmed orders, and available capacity.

Ensure timely creation and release of production and planned orders in SAP in alignment with BOMs and routings.

Utilize SAP tools to monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP), initiate purchase requisitions, and track procurement progress.

Ensure planning accuracy and strict adherence to SAP processes to minimize exceptions and maintain operational excellence.

Collaborate with purchasing, production, quality, and stores departments to ensure smooth operations and resolution of material or schedule deviations.

Proactively manage shortages and customer complaints within defined timelines.

Track and report key KPIs such as inventory turnover, delivery performance, shortage resolution, and schedule adherence.

Analyze SAP data for decision-making and continuous improvement.

Address production delays and material shortages by escalating issues, participating in review meetings, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Maintain accurate planning-related documentation and generate MIS reports to support audits and performance reviews.

Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize planning efficiency and reduce lead times.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in

SAP (PP/MM/SD modules)

and

MRP processes

Deep understanding of

BOMs, routings, and production workflows

Knowledge of

inventory control

, procurement, and supply chain planning

Ability to interpret and analyze complex data from SAP reports

Experience:

5 to 8 years

of hands-on experience in

production planning

,

material planning

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / industrial engineering

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
