Our Power and transmission team in Sweden is looking for an overhead transmission line Engineer to support our wide portfolio of power networks and generation, and infrastructure projects, with a focus on our ever-growing portfolio of projects and clients seeking support with overhead transmission line design. Members of our power and transmission team not only perform the line design, but directly interact with colleagues in our other engineering teams, and with clients and regulators to understand requirements and negotiate solutions.



Knows to Prepare Technical Abstract from feasibility study and Specification. Prepare Sag tension calculations using PLS CADD with define weathering conditions of specification as per international standards. Prepare loading calculations in excel & as well as in PLS CADD (Power Line Systems - Computer Aided Design and Drafting) software. Preparation of PLS tower models as per international codes is a plus. Spotting of Towers with Lidar Data. Preparing engineering documents related to transmission tower and foundation design. Attend site meetings (virtual) and provide ongoing design drawing changes / support as required during project build. Knowledge of all applicable engineering standards.

Key Competencies / Skills:

Proven experience in the design of UK or Nordics Overhead Line Circuits (Towers and/or Poles) at any voltage up to 400kV. Knowledge of PLS Tower/PLS pole for Tower Development would be good, but not mandatory. Tower Spotting using PLS CADD is mandatory. Eurocode experience is preferred. AutoCAD, Wood transmission line pole design, Structural Design.

Desired Skills:

Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external clients. Deliver superior quality designs and deliverables that meet the technical schedule. Good communication skills, Team work, experience in working with countries outside India.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience in the domain of activities. Professional Qualification or near Chartered members are preferred.
