Key Responsibilities
New sheet metal part development from drawing review to production release
Coordination with tool design and tool manufacturing vendors for stamping tools
Preparation and review of development-related documentation
Handling PPAP activities including FMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram, and dimensional reports
Trial planning, trial monitoring, and implementation of corrective actions
Interaction with customers for technical clarifications, timelines, and approvals
Coordination with Quality, Production, and Tool Room teams
Monitoring project timelines, cost targets, and development milestones
Support continuous improvement in design, tooling, and manufacturing processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal development and stamping processes
Strong knowledge of stamping tools, dies, and manufacturing feasibility
Working knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and APQP processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Experience in automotive or engineering component manufacturing preferred
Good communication and coordination skills
