DevOps Engineer As a DevOps Engineer, you\'ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now our Dynamics platform is based off of Azure on a common data model (CDM) and Microsoft Dataverse that leverage Power Platform to support things like CI/CD and integrations. When extending Dynamics applications, .Net is used to extend along with continuing to adopt the best in class cloud-native, low-code/no code technologies. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Chicago, Madrid, Toronto and Chennai. Responsibilities Developing tooling and automation across various teams within the organization. Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications. Analyze client business processes to identify opportunities for improvements, perform gap analysis, document and translate business requirements into well-architected technical specifications and Knowledge of emerging Microsoft technologies Azure Cloud Platform, Power Bi, PowerApps, Flow, Azure Data lake, DevOps, RSAT Work hand in hand with Project managers, program managers and project teams to ensure successful implementations, while coaching and mentoring team members and facilitate peer reviews Knowledge of project implementation methodology, LCS and be quick to adapt as per project needs Intellectual curiosity, especially around emerging enterprise technologies Must have Critical thinking and problem-solving Risk assessment and issue analysis skills Understand the requirements and provide one or more options for the solution, utilizing Industry best practices. Perform hands-on solution design, proof-of-concepts and development and testing tasks as required in support of the implementation activities Work with cross functional team actively in solution design and implementation Perform technical solution reviews and provide recommendations to improve adoption and usage Must-Have Interpersonal Skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders\' partners of different backgrounds and in a multicultural environment Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies to ensure the stability of the system by configuring, monitoring, and maintaining the infrastructure. Managing code base via source control Configuring access rights among multiple cloud services used by the company Designing and implementing CI/CD flows and performing deployments Perform active monitoring of the system by defining alerts and reviewing logs Analyze the company environments for possible opportunities to improve performance and/or solve issues before and/or after client requests Handling and analyzing service interruptions and system issues Deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure services Communicate with the team of any impediments or design concerns Submit written reports regarding issues, backups, enhancements, and deployments Ongoing optimization to increase network, server, and database performance Qualifications BS/MS Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of programming or technical experience in one or combination of the following areas: Growth Mindset Strong understanding of DevOps practices/tools including CICD, Pipelines, etc Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies. Deep knowledge of Azure services (Service Bus, Functions, Virtual Machines, Application services, etc.) Understanding of Virtual Machines, networks, and firewalls in cloud environments. Familiar with cloud monitoring, alert management, and application insights. Familiar with Azure PowerShell or Azure CLI Knowledge of Azure active directory including Azure AD authentication, Users and groups, Roles Knowledge of Windows server OS, Windows active directory, Windows Services, and Event Logs Familiar with Azure scaling policies, Docker, and Kubernetes Experience monitoring cloud and on-premise services Being able to design and implement CI/CD pipelines and use deployment automation tools. Experience with SQL Server, monitoring, and backup automation Familiarity with git source control Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence) Ability to work under pressure strong organizational skills good judgment and decision making Self-starter takes ownership and accountability for assigned work.
