Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer

to strengthen our System Development Tools team in Pune, India. We work with developing a set of tools (PLUS+1 Tools) to support our customers in creating and maintaining control software for their machinery.

Today most of this tool development is done by a System Development Tools team in Almhult, Sweden.

But we are currently building up a strong partner team in Pune, India, to collaborate on this development.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Software Engineer

, you will support the development with implementing new functionality in our tool chain. Your areas of responsibility will be to:


Contribute to the overall functionality of our tools Participate in design and code reviews Develop software solutions using a high-level language IDE Provide maintenance and support for existing tool functions

Ideally, we are looking for candidates with experience in C# to develop Windows applications.


But final tasks and responsibilities can be tailored according to the chosen candidate's experience, potential and interest.

Background & Skills

For you to rock this position

, we expect you to have some experience in software development practices, processes and design.You hold Master's or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field. It is essential that your English language skills are fluent.

To get up to speed, you are familiar with C# and or C++.It's beneficial to have knowledge from Windows application development. But also experience in mobile or web application development could be relevant.

On a more personal note, you enjoy working in an international environment where everyone has their individual tasks but where there is a common goal for the whole team. You are structured and can adapt into changing situations when needed.
