Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines.
Coordinate activities with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Ensure materials and equipment are available for the project on time.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and architects for smooth project execution.
On-Site Supervision:
Oversee daily site operations and monitor the progress of work.
Ensure all activities are carried out according to design specifications and building codes.
Supervise mechanical or civil engineering works, including installation of mechanical systems or construction tasks.
Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to site workers and contractors.
Troubleshoot technical issues and solve engineering challenges that arise on-site.
Interpret design plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct implementation.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to check for compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Implement risk assessments and safety measures to prevent accidents.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, progress reports, and technical specifications.
Track project costs and resources to ensure budget compliance.
Provide regular progress updates to project managers and senior engineers.
Quality Control & Inspection:
Ensure that work performed on-site meets the required standards of quality.
Inspect and test mechanical systems (for mechanical engineers) or structural work (for civil engineers) to verify conformance with specifications.
Identify and resolve defects or non-conformance issues.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management tools.
Proficient in using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
1-3 years of experience in site engineering or construction management (more senior positions may require more experience).
Familiarity with construction processes, mechanical systems, and civil engineering standards.
