A. Job Objective

To complete day to day commercial settlements with suppliers

To develop new vendor as well as alternate vendors for critical manufacturing parts

To ensure smooth supply required for production/operations maintaining the right quality, optimum cost and swift delivery.

B. Primary responsibilities

Functional -

- Floats RFQ (Request for Quotation) for technical and commercial viability for different manufacturing parts.

- Estimate and negotiate with vendors based on the estimation

- Alternate development of manufacturing parts

- Identify new vendors who can deliver better Quality, Cost & Delivery

- Develops good new vendors as a part of capacity enhancement

Cost Reduction

Derisking of critical Manufacturing parts

OTDIF

D. Requirement

Knowledge of goods manufacturing vendor development

Exposure of machining and fabrication components, Raw material (SS/Alloy Steel, MS) buying from Mills.

Able to do Cost estimation based on drawing and negotiate with suppliers as per optimum price
