Purpose of Role:
The Engineer - Manufacturing Assembly is responsible for executing day-to-day manufacturing assembly activities on the shop floor, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and adherence to standard processes. The role works closely with production, quality, and stores teams to ensure accurate and timely assembly of components in line with engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities:Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Execute manufacturing assembly operations on the shop floor in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and production plans.
Interpret and work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and general arrangement drawings to ensure correct assembly.
Perform SAP transactions related to production confirmations, material movements, and basic manufacturing reporting.
Follow and maintain IMS and quality documentation in line with organisational standards and audit requirements.
Adhere to all safety standards and zero-harm behaviours, contributing to a safe working environment.
Support quality inspections, documentation, and audit preparation activities.
Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and standard work.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, stores, and engineering to address assembly-related issues.
Contribute to improving efficiency, quality, and safety within manufacturing assembly processes.
Education & Qualifications:Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations.
Desired Skills & Competencies:Practical knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with IMS / ISO-based quality management systems.
Exposure to Lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methods.
Comfortable working in a shop-floor environment and adapting to changing priorities.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
