Responsibilities

Prepare Process flow diagram (PFD) and Piping & instrumental diagram (P&ID) for various ship's systems. Prepare piping material specification (PMS) and valve MTO Pipis sizing, material selection Perform/review Flow & pressure analysis using pipe flow for various systems, Heat & mass balance. Pipe stress analysis using Caesar-II Prepare Machinery arrangement drawing. Equipment modeling and placement Co-ordinate with other team member, team lead for smooth execution of tasks/work 3D pipe routing Piping isometric drawing Piping and support arrangement drawing Piping & Support MTO Pipe support modeling Pipe support fabrication drawing

Desired profile of the candidate

Minimum of bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / marine engineering or equivalent recognized engineering qualification, additional PGD in piping. Literate in Microsoft office suite Able to produce 2D drawings using CAD software. Knowledge of basic and detail engineering design has basic interdisciplinary knowledge. Familiar with all major class rules (DNV, ABS, IRS etc.) and requirement for machinery & piping is preferred Familiar with Piping, fitting & material standards, Good analytical and reporting skills Fluent in English (spoken and written)
