This exciting role offers opportunity to:

• Build, maintain and manage strong supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
• Knowledge on ISO 9001:2015.
• Thorough knowledge on Parts approval process (PPAP) and deployment with Risk mitigation.
• Knowledge on supplier Risk assessment and qualification methods.
• Knowledge of SAP-MM.
• Drive Supplier projects with time bound deliverables.
• Handling Material Cost out projects.
• Responsible for contractor management activities and ensure documentation on time.
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact business.
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities, Indirect supplies & services.
• Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
• Compile data relating to supplier performance to assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance

Qualifications

Requirement:

• Min 8-10 years of experience in Procurement / Vendor development domain.
• Min 6+ years of hands on experience in SAP with detailed understanding of MRP parameters and their influence on Materials planning.
• BE/B.Tech – Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical.
• Experience in Vendor Management with High mix and low volume
• Experience in contractor management is advised.
• Good knowledge of supply base in Injection Molding, PCB and/or stamped/machined parts and/or Electronic components.
• Handling of Import procurement will be an added advantage.
• Understand and implement procurement processes inline with the current supply chain market.
• Personal Drive and ambition.
• Proficient with MS Office – Excel & Power point.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong result-oriented person.
• Team player but also able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Able to achieve on time delivery despite obstacles – goal focused.
• Strong awareness of attention to detail and the use of data to produce a winning argument.
