Location/Division Specific Information Laboratory Equipment Division, India Engineering Centre (IEC), Hyderabad Discover Impactful Work: Selected Candidate will work on User Interface Software design and development for Laboratory Equipment A day in the Life: User Interface design, development and testing address field issues develop backend application programs, protocol implementation work on Innovation ideas to contribute to our Products and Process Keys to Success: Education Masters or Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation engineering or related field or equivalent with proven experience of minimum 12 years in relevant industry Experience Hands on working experience in building Innovative and feature Rich UIs for Medical, Lab, consumer, automotive products 12+ years experience in Software development (C and C++), testing on embedded linux for ARM HW platforms Must have implemented atleast 2 production releases Must have expereince in resolving field issues, customer complaints Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Hands on experience of Qt Quick architectural patterns along with Qt/QML coding standards to write clean and performant code Experience with latest Qt 5.x/Qt 6.x(minimal Qt 5.9) along with C++ standard(C++14 and above) is preferred Good working knowledge of object oriented design principles and architectural/design patterns in C++ Experience with Yocto is required on i.MX6/8 HW Ability to work on back end application development, protocol implementation Have good understanding of porting across platforms, development of simulators for testing, BSPs and Kernel level dependencies Experience in version control tools, code review tools ability to work in Global diverse environment Dedicated, creative and can work independently to drive timely closure on projects/activities with high quality Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to review and evaluate code and writings of others.
