The Role: Engineer II, Software Engineering

The Team:

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled software engineer to join an agile scrum team developing technology solutions. The team is responsible for modernizing and migrating the internal and product platform utilizing latest technologies.

The Impact:

As Engineer II, Software Engineering, you will be part of content systems development team that manages multi-terabyte data using Microsoft .Net tech stack and big data technologies. You will be part of a data intensive project offering. This role expects a candidate with deep Angular, REST APIs and SQL Server experience to design, develop and support Web based application.

Technically as an Angular Engineer, you will apply existing and emerging technologies to build mission critical solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining market leading web platform using Angular and SQL server interacting through APIs. Your strong proficiency with Angular, REST APIs and SQL programming will be used extensively in this role. In addition to the design and development work, you will be required to take on initiatives and collaborate extensively with stakeholders and within the development team to achieve positive outcomes. You will be working with highly skilled, forward-thinking software professionals who share a common vision of quality, integrity, and efficiency. Each individual understands the value of their work and the impact it has to the success of their team, the company, and the customers it serves.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Design, and implement Web Application components for content systems.

\xc2\xb7 Perform analysis and articulate solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Design underlying engineering for use in multiple product offerings supporting a large volume of end-users.

\xc2\xb7 Develop project plans with task breakdowns and estimates.

\xc2\xb7 Continuously learn and translate those learnings into improvements to solutions

\xc2\xb7 Solve a variety of complex problems and figure out possible solutions, weighing the costs and benefits.

What We\'re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

\xc2\xb7 5-8 years of relevant experience on Angular based Web Application.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience on Angular 14

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years in AWS Cloud.

\xc2\xb7 RESTful API development and Integration.

\xc2\xb7 Strong MS SQL skills

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in at least one CI/CD tool like Gitlab.

\xc2\xb7 Experience building AWS Lambdas using Terraform.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Typescript as well as in modern web frameworks like React / Angular

\xc2\xb7 NgRx pattern for angular application.

\xc2\xb7 JavaScript and CSS.

\xc2\xb7 Http Interceptors concepts

\xc2\xb7 Able to demonstrate strong OOP skills

\xc2\xb7 Develop apps that run on a cloud infrastructure - AWS.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development

\xc2\xb7 Good experience with developing solutions involving relational database technologies on SQL Server platform, stored procedure programming experience using Transact SQL.

\xc2\xb7 Passionate, smart, and articulate developer

\xc2\xb7 Able to work well individually and with a team

\xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving skills

\xc2\xb7 Good work ethic, self-starter, and results-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity and/or enthusiasm with Data Science / Machine Learning is a plus

\xc2\xb7 Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Dynamo DB, or Postgres
