As a

Networking Engineer

you will be responsible for supporting and advancing our IP-based telecommunication networks, which leverage Kubernetes-based technologies for virtualization and orchestration. We are looking forsomeone withstrong expertise in 4G and 5G networks, routing and switching, Linux networking features, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS. You should beproficient in testing these solutions, identifying issues, and implementing fixes. This is a

Full Time, Work from Office (5 Days a week)

role based in

Bangalore, India.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Designing, troubleshooting, testing, and supporting IP-based telecommunication networks including 4G and 5G, utilizing Kubernetes-based virtualization and orchestration technologies. Designing the network architecture and developing configuration requirements for switches and routers that are part of the solution. Developing features utilizing key Linux networking capabilities, particularly in the context of virtual networking technologies such as iptables, network namespaces, bridges, tunnels, and SR-IOV (Single Root I/O Virtualization). Working extensively with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms in telecom environments. Supporting cloud infrastructure and deployments, particularly on AWS. Developing automation scripts and tools to optimize network and cloud operations. Identifying, diagnosing, and fixing problems in network and virtualization solutions. Collaboratingwith cross-functional teams to implement network and cloud best practices. Documenting configurations, testing procedures, processes, and operational workflows. UsingGit and other version control systems to manage configuration files, scripts, and documentation.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience and at least 3+ years working with Linux networking, including hands-on development using features such as iptables, network namespaces, routing, bridges, tunnels, and SR-IOV especially in virtual networking contexts. Strong understanding of IP-based telecommunication networks such as 4G and 5G, and their deployment using Kubernetes-based technologies. Proficient in designing network architectures and developing configurations for switches and routers that support the solution. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Familiarity with AWS cloud services. Skilled in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Go. Proficient in using Git and other version control systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Have experience with network security and virtualization. Have knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Are familiar with cloud networking and security best practices.
