About the Role
As an Audio SW Test Engineer you will work with a team that focuses on advanced technology development for applications across all Harman product lines including Automotive, Lifestyle (consumer), and Professional.
You will have the opportunity to be innovative, and results driven. Strong analytic skills with the technical depth to test real-time audio systems; sufficient exposure to the audio industry and the ability to quickly understand new audio SW technologies.
What You Will Do
Test Audio DSP algorithms.
Test SW applications that are used to evaluate existing technologies for market readiness through benchmarking.
Perform system integration and release testing.
Document and create manuals for new applications.
Bug triage and handling.
Transfer new technologies to commercialization teams.
What You Need to be Successful
BS degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, acoustics, etc.
6 years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with DevOps.
Software testing experience using a unit test framework.
Hands-on experience with continuous integration systems and Agile SW development (GIT).
Use of scripts to automate testing.
Experience with version control systems, bug management systems, audio applications.
Ability to work in a global matrixed organization and able to communicate at all levels.
Bonus Points if You Have
Experience implementing and testing audio DSP algorithms.
Use of audio recording and audio plugins tools.
What Makes You Eligible
Willingness to work in an office located in Bangalore, India.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
