As a Engineer for APG, you will be responsible for the development and review of AUTOSAR MCAL and Complex Drivers, with a focus on ISO 26262 Functional Safety compliance. The role demands hands-on experience in AUTOSAR MCAL module development, relevant toolchains, and adherence to ASPICE and ISO 26262 software development standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, attention to detail, and a consistent track record of delivering high-quality, performance-driven software solutions.
Your responsibilities will include requirement analysis, software design, coding, unit testing, traceability matrix creation, FMEA execution, and comprehensive reviews of deliverables.
Requirements/Qualifications:Education: BE/BTech/MTech/MS in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field Experience: 1-2 years in embedded design and development for automotive applications Proven experience in developing low-level device drivers for automotive microcontrollers. Understanding of ARM architecture is an added advantage. Practical experience in AUTOSAR MCAL module development aligned with ISO 26262 (ASIL levels) and ASPICE standards Experience in analyzing functional safety requirements, preparing safety documentation, and implementing safety measures ISO 26262 Functional Safety Certification preferred Exposure to AUTOSAR Complex Drivers (CDD) development is an added advantage Proficiency in C and Python programming, with excellent testing and debugging skills for embedded systems Experience developing microcontroller peripheral drivers such as ADC, PWM, CAN, DIO, ICU, LIN, PORT, SPI, MCU, WDG, I2C, etc. for at least one microcontroller family In-depth knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and configuration tools such as EB Tresos and Vector DaVinci Configurator Hands on experience with CAN/LIN analyzer tools and debuggers Experience using code coverage tools such as Tessy, LDRA, or similar Working knowledge of Jira and Git for project and version control management
