Job Description

Brief :

Design mechanical and electromechanical products, systems, and subsystems based on customer requirements, functional specifications, and industry standards. Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD modeling using

Creo with

hands-on experience in creating detailed part drawings and assemblies. Expertise in the design and development of

sheet metal components

, considering manufacturing feasibility and cost-effectiveness. End-to-end product design responsibilities including

requirement gathering, concept development, detailed engineering design, material selection, design for manufacturability (DFM), prototyping, production release, and post-launch support

. Conduct

cross-functional design reviews

and collaborate with teams across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality for successful implementation of

NPD

,

VAVE

and

VOS

initiatives. Working knowledge of

Oracle ERP systems

,

Product Data Management (PDM)

tools, and product lifecycle management (PLM) processes. Ability to perform

design calculations

, stress analysis and support simulation/testing teams to validate design performance. Prepare and maintain

BOMs (Bill of Materials), ECO/DCR documentation

, and ensure adherence to company procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on

continuous improvement

, design optimization, and cost reduction. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality design output.

Qualifications:

BE/B Tech - Mechanical.

Experience: 2.5 - 4.5 Years.
