Experience in mechanical design, proficiency with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software, and the ability to manage BOMs and technical drawings for multiple products. This role involves documenting component details, dimensions, and technical requirements to support seamless product development and lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software. Create, update, and ensure the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOMs). Utilize PLM tools for product data management and version control. Document component details, dimensions, and technical requirements. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product readiness.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience:
3-5 years in mechanical design or related roles.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks). Experience with PLM tools (e.g., Windchill). Knowledge of technical documentation best practices.
