We specialize in designing and manufacturing high-performance drones for various industries, including aerial photography, surveillance, logistics, and agriculture. We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics and Sensor Integration and Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and advancement of our cutting-edge drone technologies. As an Electronics and Sensor Integration and Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, integration, and testing of electronic components and sensors within our drone systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system integration experts, to ensure the successful integration and functionality of electronic systems and sensors in our drones.

Your responsibilities will primarily focus on designing, implementing, and conducting rigorous testing procedures to validate the performance, reliability, and safety of our drone systems.

Responsibilities:

Electronics Integration:

Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate electronic components, including flight controllers, power systems, motors, and communication modules, into drone platforms.

Ensure proper electrical connections, circuit designs, and compatibility between components to achieve optimal performance and reliability.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to electronics integration, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and component specifications.

Sensor Integration:

Integrate various sensors into drone systems, such as GPS, IMU, altimeters, cameras, LiDAR, and thermal imaging devices.

Develop sensor mounting solutions and optimize their placement to achieve accurate data acquisition and reliable performance.

Interface sensors with flight controllers and ensure proper calibration and synchronization for precise measurements and control.

Testing and Validation:

Develop and implement test plans, protocols, and procedures to verify the performance, functionality, and safety of integrated electronic systems and sensors.

Conduct comprehensive testing, including functional testing, environmental testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and system-level integration testing.

Analyze and interpret test results, identify potential issues or anomalies, and collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve them.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish quality standards, specifications, and inspection criteria for electronic and sensor integration.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and evaluate product performance and reliability throughout the development lifecycle, suggesting improvements and driving continuous enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. A master\'\'s degree is a plus.
  • Strong experience in electronics and sensor integration, preferably in the drone or aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, power distribution systems and electrical system integration.
  • Solid understanding of sensor technologies, such as GNSS, GPS, IMU, LiDAR, cameras, and thermal imaging.
  • Experience with test equipment, tools, and methodologies for electronics and sensor testing.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to drones and electronics (e.g., FAA regulations, ISO standards).
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation using tools like MATLAB, Python, or similar software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and sensor integration issues.
