Summary



I. Department Overview:

The Hosted and Data Solutions department is responsible for developing and maintaining analytic, workflow and reporting solutions that are used to optimize hospital cost and patient care.

II. Purpose:

The DevOps position will be responsible for supporting the developed applications and driving automation to streamline the process of application deployment, monitoring and environment standup.

III. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:

• Scripting deployment and monitoring routines
• Configuration and Implementation of Applications as per DevOps Practices.
• Deploying software to Dev/Test/Stage/Production environments
• Install and configure IIS, OS, SQL Server and custom-built software.
• Troubleshooting environmental specific issues and ensuring SLA is met
• Suggesting software and architecture improvements
• Maintain developed source code in the repository keep all deployment programs up to date.
• Working side by side with development and test teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Working on Incident/change management processes.
• Participate in doing platform upgrades and migrations
• Evaluating new technologies

IV. Position Requirements:

Experience or Equivalent:

• 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working on Windows administration and working in .Net technologies.

Any Additional Important Information:

• Experience in an agile environment is preferred
• Ensuring appropriate and detailed documentation for automation and environment configuration exists is required
• Participate in after hour on call rotation
• Support after hour and weekend deployments and maintenance activities
• Having any tech certifications (Cloud/AWS/Terraform etc.) would be a plus point.
