US GCC Water team in WSP India is looking to induct Water & Wastewater professional in our Bengaluru/Mumbai/Noida office. As a Water & Wastewater professional, you will have the basic understanding of wastewater, storm engineering. In this role, you will get the opportunity to work on projects across Water Infrastructure projects, primarily in United States, as part of a wider team of accomplished cross sector and multi-disciplinary professionals across geographies. Also, this position offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated Water team working on a range of project sizes and types, from stand-alone engineering, design to multi-disciplinary development projects.
The successful candidate will gain experience in coordinating with our US counterparts in the development and delivery of water infrastructure projects through various stages of the project cycle including inception, planning, feasibility, data analysis, detailed design, drawing production and construction support while adhering to WSP standards. You will gain by creating solution for management of water and wastewater and integrating your solutions into our client's overall project.
Undertake model build and calibration of wastewater and surface water network hydraulic models using a range of modelling software and other tools including spreadsheets and GIS.
Perform system performance analysis, development assessment and operational scenario planning using hydraulic models and other tools as required.
Prepare reporting for modelling projects suitable for review and client presentation.
Provide input into project activities, including fee estimating and scoping of projects.
Support a team of junior modellers. This will include provision of training and quality assurance to ensure work is produced to a high quality in accordance with internal and client specifications.
Undertake project reviews to ensure that all work undertaken is in accordance with appropriate professional and technical standards and practices and meets the project requirements.

Software Proficiencies
MUST HAVE software proficiencies:
+ InfoWorks ICM, InfoDrainage, Info360 Asset; Ideal candidate should be an advanced user of ICM and intermediate proficiency with the balance.
+ QGIS, ArcGIS etc
Good to have software proficiencies:
+ SewerGEMS, iTwin, PCSWMM, InfoSWMM,
+ Civil 3D, 12D and similar
+ HEC-RAS, HY-8 and similar
+ API programming skills (especially using RubyScript)
Master's degree in relevant discipline (Civil/Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering/ Management or Bachelor's in civil / environmental engineering/Water Resources Engineering
Preferred, Member of a professional body like CIWEM, ICE etc.; Chartered or equivalent
A minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience within a consultancy environment
Experience in hydraulic Modelling for large scale Wastewater and Storm Infrastructure projects.
Experience
Skilled in Urban drainage modelling (1D/2D), Flood analysis, runoff estimation, storage/attenuation system design, hydraulic model build, verification and calibration using hydraulic modelling tools.
Experience in the design of sewer & water network designs for planned layouts and developments.
Knowledge of hydrologic-hydraulic modelling using SWMM framework (PCSWMM).
Knowledge and understanding of international codes and standards.
Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis.
Good report writing skills.
