As a Validation/Test Automation Engineer you will join a highly skilled software team in delivering innovative mobile and web applications that make up CNH Industrial\xe2\x80\x99s next generation digital platform. The digital platform will enable products that integrate with connected CNH Industrial tractors, sprayers and combines and enable wide range of farm management capabilities.

Primary responsibilities include working closely with product management, UX designers and backend developers on the design, development, testing and deployment of our next generation applications and existing product lines. You will undertake all assigned tasks and responsibilities effectively and professionally in accordance with company, team and customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a team or individually to design, develop, test software and document quality software for cloud, web and mobile to meet user and functional requirements within specified timeframe

2. Analyzing user\xe2\x80\x99s stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility

3. Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery

4. Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)

5. Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies

6. Design and develop test automation scripts

7. Help to build fully automated testing pipeline

8. Identifying and escalating any test issues early on to the test manager

9. Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle

10. Following automation testing standards set in the team

11. Collaborate closely with other team members and departments

12. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders

13. Perform tasks as specified by the Delivery Lead/Team Lead

14. Other related duties as required

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Education Qualifications and/or Experience

\xc2\xa7 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited university

\xc2\xa7 3+ years of industry experience

\xc2\xa7 2+ years of experience in Testing, Validation using Test Automation tools ; with cross-browser, cross-platform, Web Apps & Mobile Apps for performing different types of tests - Regression Testing , Load Testing, Functional Testing

\xc2\xa7 Should be able to work independently and take ownership of release or feature testing

\xc2\xa7 Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies

\xc2\xa7 Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of Web technologies like HTTP, JS, CSS, SOAP, REST, should have experience in API Automation Testing

\xc2\xa7 Moderate to strong programming skills, excellent fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures

\xc2\xa7 1+ years using Git

\xc2\xa7 Good understandings/hands on experience with continuous integration tools like Azure Dev Ops/JIRA etc.

Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments
