Job Description

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the design and development of level gauges (Reflex, Transparent, Magnetic), sight glasses, tank instrumentation, and related mechanical/instrumentation products. Proven track record of working with clients in the process industries including oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, and refineries.

Design & Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of applicable standards such as ASME, EN, ISO, DIN, IS, and ANSI related to pressure vessels, level measurement, and instrumentation. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, engineering calculations, and preparation of technical documentation.
Experience in designing instrumentation solutions for critical applications, including high-pressure, high-temperature, corrosive, and hazardous environments, ensuring reliability, safety, and long-term performance under demanding operating conditions.

Interact with customers and internal teams (production, quality, sales) to ensure design feasibility and compliance with specifications.

Standards & Compliance:

Knowledge of ATEX, PED, CE, and IBR compliance as relevant to instrumentation products. Familiarity with certification requirements and documentation (GA drawings, QAPs, datasheets).

Leadership & Management:

Experience in leading a team of design engineers and draftsmen. Responsible for managing engineering timelines, resource allocation, and departmental KPIs.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with global clients and inspection agencies.
