Purpose of the position

a)To design and support development of engine and engine subsystems as per business requirement
b)This position is holder is actively involved throughout design and development cycle of engine function (from concept to launch and post SOP period to support final product throughout its life cycle)
Dimensions of the position
Engine Integration on vehicle(of one engine family) as per application and Engine sub-system design (3-4 reporting team members, either direct or indirect)
Personal Profile
Education BE/B.Tech, ME/MTech (Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics)
(ME/MTech will be preferred)
Technical Skills
1.Fundamentals of core engine design & peripherals
2.Excellent understanding on GD&T, Tolerancing & drawings
3.Hands-on CAD software skills (Pro-E, CATIA, CREO)
4.Analytical Skills
Relevant Experience :
Min 3 years of experience in Engine Design
Key Responsibilities:

1\xe2\x80\xa2 Timely Integration of engine and engine sub system design on vehicle platform design for new vehicles or variants to achieve timely launch of the vehicle by following the plan of all design releases and validations
Receive DID(design Input document),DDP( Design development plan), Vehicle Tech. specification AND CAD data for packaging at DR0/DR1/DR2
Delivery of Engine and subsystem design to be Integrated on vehicle in CAD and PLM At DR1 updated Up to DR2
Represent project review meeting monthly/weekly as per project
Support activities required for Engineering Sign Off like. Preparation of Change part list, DFMEA, support CAE analysis etc at DR4
