esponsibilities
U

ndertaking of tasks as assigned, in particular:
o

ocus on earthing and bonding strategies, modelling and practical experience working across multiple disciplines o
pply high level conceptual, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills in the development of electrical earthing and bonding design solutions o
emonstrate earthing and bonding design experience, preferably including knowledge of traction system earthing and stray current mitigation methods o
he role requires the ability to conduct studies including soil modeling, low frequency induction (LFI), and earth potential rise (EPR). o
mbrace being or becoming eminent in the field of earthing and bonding and provide technical leadership and mentoring to other employees o
njoy collaborating with clients and all areas of the business to enhance project outcomes o
evelop, maintain and apply a working knowledge of relevant regulatory, engineering legislation, codes of practice and standards associated with earthing, bonding and lightning protection. o
xperienced with CDGES, MATLAB, Bluebeam, and CAD software. K
ey Competencies / Skills
o

xperience in Earthing and Bonding design o
ood interpersonal and communication skills o
ypically, 3 years within a similar role o
xposure to Sydney Trains/Transport favourable o
trong understanding of earthing and bonding o
ailway experience would be ideal, although a utility background will be considered if a strong understanding of earthing and bonding is demonstrated o
nterest in mentoring junior Engineers and managing design packages and teams. Q
ualifications

egree or Masters in Electrical/Electronics and Power engineering. I
deally chartered or progressing to chartership M
inimum of 6 years of experience in Earthing and Bonding engineering design. W
