Job Description

BOLD is seeking for Devops professional who can take ownership of production environment related issues and DevOps related tasks. Should be working within the infrastructure team and providing support on day-to-day issues, ad-hoc service requests, collaborative projects, etc. Design, Develop, Architect and Document the required DevOps infrastructure goals according to best industry practices

ABOUT THIS TEAM
Infrastructure team provides various services including automation, observability, cloud/server/network architectures, CICD, infrastructure as code, database administration, incident management, vendor management, security and compliance, and acquiring new skills. These services help to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure fast and reliable application releases while maintaining security and compliance. Techops help teams monitor applications and infrastructure, create resilient infrastructure, identify and resolve IT service issues, manage vendors, and ensure cloud security and compliance. The team also focuses on continuous learning and implementing new technologies to provide better value to the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, implement, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure environments overseeing day-to-day operational support.
• Effectively manage and troubleshoot server/platform issues.
• Collaborate closely with project delivery operations and functional teams within a team-oriented framework.
• Conduct OS-level configuration, offering maintenance support for both Windows and Linux environments.
• Evaluate and monitor the performance of cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and shared resources.
• Keep a vigilant eye on security patches, fixes, updates, and ensure adherence to vulnerability and compliance reporting.
• Be prepared for 24x7 support and on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in an on-call schedule to provide support for critical infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Experience in developing Continuous Delivery pipelines for a diverse set of projects using Groovy, Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Python, Bash, and more
• Solid understanding of CI/CD release pipelines.
• Experience working with Gradle, Artifactory, Docker registry, npm registry, with strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of managing linux servers running Solr or other search services.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and ECS.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and experience with tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with database technologies (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) in the context of application development and operational management.
• Experience with AWS, its services (including EMR), and its supporting tools (cost control, reporting, environment management).
• Ability to design and implement Python-based solutions for CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, and system monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog for automated health checks and performance analytics.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work toward task completion.
• Team up with Development, QA and OPS to continuously innovate and enhance our build and automation infrastructure.
