Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in casting and forging to join our Crop Production team at ITC Gurgaon. This role involves the design, development, and integration of cast and forged components in agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Creo-based CAD modeling and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to casting and forging.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of cast and forged components in crop production machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, and Supply Chain.
• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with CNH standards.
• Conduct design reviews, DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Support prototype builds, field validation, and resolve Design/integration issues during development and testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, durability, and regulatory standards for cast and forged components.
• Drive cost and weight optimization through innovative design and material selection.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and change management through PLM systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and best practices.

Experience Required
Experience Level: 5-8 Years
Industry: Agricultural Equipment / Farm Machinery
Tool Expertise: Creo (2D & 3D CAD)
Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in agricultural equipment or heavy machinery design.
• Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Strong understanding of casting and forging processes, GD&T, material selection, and structural design principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill).
• Familiarity with CAD & assist tools (e.g., Creo, Simsloid, Inspire, DFA Boothroyd & Cetol, MAGMASOFT).
• Exposure to global product development and cross-cultural collaboration.
