Job Description

A Civil Engineer designs, plans, constructs, and maintains public infrastructure like roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems, involving site investigation, feasibility studies, cost estimation, blueprint creation using CAD, risk management, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with safety/legal standards, coordinating with teams, and managing projects from concept to completion. They translate project concepts into technical plans, monitor construction, and ensure structural integrity and public safety, requiring strong math, IT, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Develop detailed plans, blueprints, and technical documents for projects using software like CAD.

• Feasibility & Analysis: Conduct site investigations, analyze soil, terrain, and environmental data, and perform risk assessments.

• Project Management: Oversee budgets, schedules, resources, and timelines, ensuring projects meet objectives.

• Construction Oversight: Inspect sites, monitor progress, ensure adherence to specifications, and provide technical guidance.

• Documentation: Prepare reports, cost estimates, specifications, and permit applications.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
