Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ\'s data and insights to innovate and grow.As a Frontend Software Engineer, you\'ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now our CDAR platform is concentrating on application convergence with latest UI technologies with Reactjs and backend services with Springboot technologies and leverage Jenkins to support things like CI/CD and integrations. Java 8 is primarily used to extend platform features along with continuing to adopt the best in class cloud-native, cloud-agnostic technologies. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Chicago, Madrid, Toronto, Chennai and PuneWhat you\'ll do\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding user needs and how they fit into the overall, global solution design\xe2\x97\x8f Configuring & Implementing Application and Integration Service to support Business needs\xe2\x97\x8f Prototyping new features and integrations aligned to business strategy by introducing innovation through technology\xe2\x97\x8f Following source & test-driven development best practices\xe2\x97\x8f Troubleshooting and identifying root cause analysis while resolving the issuesQualificationsWe\'re looking for people who have\xe2\x97\x8f Minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a Frontend engineer who works on JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS and ExtJS using out of box tools KendoUI and Sencha.\xe2\x97\x8f Development experience in typescript, package manager and CSS\xe2\x97\x8f Basic knowledge on nodejs framework\xe2\x97\x8f Development experience in unit and integration test cases like Karma, Protractor etc\xe2\x97\x8f Good Understanding on CI/CD Pipeline i.e. Jenkin\xe2\x97\x8f Strong knowledge of version control tools, preferably Git and Bit bucket.\xe2\x97\x8f Basic Knowledge on Linux/Unix environment (basic commands, shell scripting, etc.)\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated ability to thrive in an enterprise Agile/SCRUM environment\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated ability to work as part of a Global Team\xe2\x97\x8f Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business\xe2\x97\x8f Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field\xe2\x97\x8f Experience using Collaboration Technologies: Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira, Confluence\xe2\x97\x8f Experience using Object-oriented languages Java\xe2\x97\x8f Experience using Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket\xe2\x97\x8f Experience working with testing tools and Automation test needs\xe2\x97\x8f Motivated, high-potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead.\xe2\x97\x8f Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.\xe2\x97\x8f Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.\xe2\x97\x8f Teachable and embracing of best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.\xe2\x97\x8f Consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.Additional InformationAbout NIQNIQ is the world\'s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.
