Serve as a key member of the Lubricant Supply Chain Reporting Team, leading the execution of quarterly and annual environmental reporting activities. Ensure continuous data integrity and compliance in accordance with internal standards, Shell corporate environmental requirements, and external regulatory or auditing body expectations
What you'll be doing

  • Support the business in achieving full and timely compliance with Shell's Performance Monitoring and Reporting obligations, covering both site-level and business-level reporting. This includes ensuring adherence to all applicable parameter reporting requirements within and outside the emission reporting platform. Preparing the quarterly PMR report for submission, ensuring all required data is reviewed and validated, documenting commentary on deviations, and developing a summary of quarterly performance to support approval.
  • Provide strategic oversight and technical assurance for environmental data collection, validation, and reporting processes, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with site reporting focal points, the Sustainability Team Reporting Focal, and the Shell Environmental Reporting Team to ensure alignment with Shell's Performance Monitoring and Reporting (PMR) framework.
  • Document, track, and communicate all reporting findings, maintaining strong engagement with site teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution. Ensure findings are formally closed through collaborative follow-up and identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on insights gained from the reporting findings.
  • Maintain awareness of the rapidly evolving environmental reporting landscape including changes in parameters and assurance requirements, and collaborate closely with key reporting stakeholders, such as Parameter Custodians, to resolve reporting issues and clarify parameter definitions.
  • Improve reporting efficiency by identifying and implementing automated solutions for data collection, any calculation processes, and report generation to support timely and accurate quarterly submissions.
  • Drive innovation in the reporting process by identifying and applying enhancements that streamline workflows, enable predictive analytics, and deliver actionable insights from environmental performance trends.
  • Provide support during environmental reporting audits by ensuring timely access to required records and facilitating clear communication with auditors. Maintain comprehensive tracking of all environmental reporting activities to support audit readiness, including any evidence collection and demonstration.
  • Maintain the Global Lubricants Data Control & Assurance Plan document, performing annual updates to incorporate new environmental reporting requirements, identify and assess reporting risks, and document the implementation of mitigation measures for recognized risks.
  • Provide support for the migration from Emission reporting system to Environmental Insights for Global Lubricants, ensuring a smooth transition of reporting processes, data integrity, and stakeholder alignment throughout the implementation
  • Develop and maintain a dashboard that tracks the business's performance against key sustainability KPIs, integrating data from quarterly environmental PMR reporting. Ensure the dashboard provides clear, actionable insights for both site-level and business-level stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making and continuous improvement across Global Lubricants operations.
  • Provide insights related to quarterly PMR reporting for Global Lubricants, as requested, to support both internal Shell initiatives and external customer engagements, such as responses to RFPs.
