Locations: Chennai, Kolkata & MumbaiBrief of the role:The Engineer - Business Development will identify and pursue opportunities in the transportation and infrastructure consulting sectors, engaging with clients across government and private domains. The role involves lead generation, proposal coordination, client relationship management, and representing BARSYL in the respective regions. Candidates should have relevant sector experience, and a proactive approach to market research and networking.Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering

• 35 years of experience in business development, preferably in infrastructure, engineering, or consulting sectors

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus

• Ability to work independently and coordinate across internal teams

• Willingness to travel within the region for client interactions, meetings, and events
